We recently have been highlighting a lot of great new wines that have been hitting our shelves, however today I have decided to advertise three of our most consistent selling wines in our shop over the Summer. These three wines compete against wines that are well beyond their price ranges and are inviting for any wine drinker to try.

2017 Halter Ranch CDP: $29.91
The Halter Ranch estate was purchased in 2000 with the ambition of crafting quality wines while practicing sustainable methods in the Paso Robles region. Since 2008, they have been certified in such practices and have been producing wines with much more elegance and finesse. The 2017 vintage of the Cote de Paso, their take on a Rhone style blend is a prime example of a wine with such characteristics. Deep red in color with aromas of dried strawberry and cinnamon flowing from the glass. On the palate this medium body wine shows notes of black raspberry and spice from beginning to end.

2018 Delas Ventoux: $10.99
Rhone Valley produces some of my favorite wines in the whole world. I adore their bold style, pristine quality, and integrity that separate them from other wine growing regions. The Ventoux is an absolute bargain for the caliber of wine you are receiving. It is a blend of Syrah and Grenache grapes grown in the southern end of the Rhone valley. This fantastic bottle showcases elegance and balance with graceful notes of dark berries and spice on the nose and palate alike.

2018 Alban Viognier: $25.99

To wrap up this email I wanted throw you guys one of the staff’s favorite white wines. Alban Vineyards has been on the forefront of bringing Rhone style varietals to Paso Robles since its launch in 1989. Of the many whites they make their Viognier may just be the best they have to offer. The Viognier invites you in with hues of honeysuckle and citrus peel while the palate consists of melon and peach notes. This is a versatile wine perfect with most white meat and fish and is just as good served on its own.
