Top 100 Wines

Welcome to our annual round-up and preview of the wines (and beers) we don't want you to miss this coming year. We have tasted thousands of products again this year, witling away at them to present you with the best over-achieving wines on the market. We have two important selection criteria that we rely upon: 1. we maintain that there is no challenge in telling you about a great wine that retails for $75-$100 dollars. We carry these wines, and believe in them - but for us, value is equally as important as pedigree. We want to know that you've benefitted from our expertise in finding special wines at bargain prices, and 2. Before we make our final selections, we reach out to each supplier or winery and get a commitment from them that they will supply us with wine so we can keep all of you happy. Top 100 lists filled with sold-out wines are an exercise in frustration, and that's not what we're about. All of the wines included are available at the time this issue is published. That doesn't mean they'll be around in August - so, if it sounds interesting, now is the time for you to come in and taste.

This year's list is perhaps the best we've ever compiled. Our staff and suppliers have really gone above and beyond to present and analyze each product. Our staff in particular have been enthusiastic about their assessments, and we think you'll find their editorials about the wines and beers informative and engaging. Though you may disagree about the inclusion of a particular product, all are well made, well priced and available at the time we went to print.

Enjoy this issue and share it with a friend! Obviously, we'd love to hear from you. We are grateful for your patronage and look forward to the opportunities the upcoming year will bring us. We would like to start with a BIG Thank You for your help in making this last year a great success.

Wishing you and your families good health & happiness,

Cheers! David, Tamera and the Imbibe Team
