Hello to all those who Imbibe,
Well, its the month of May and what better offer than one of our favorite wines, Caymus Vineyards?
No one has made better Cabernet longer than Caymus. The Wagner family started farming Napa just after the San Francisco earthquake of 1906. In 1960 Charle Wagner pulled out fruit orchards to plant Pinot Noir, Riesling and most significantly, a Cabernet Sauvignon clone from highly regarded grower Nathan Fay’s Vineyard. In 1975 the very first Special Selection Cabernet was introduced. In 1989 Wine Spectator named the 1984 Special Selection “Wine of the Year” and the rest is history.
