Tamera Dobbs
I grew up in beautiful Bakersfield with my family on a small farm raising animals in the local 4-H club. I married David in 1986 and moved with him to San Francisco. In 1988, we moved to Glendale and purchased Red Carpet Wine along with David's father. Early on, it was decided that my strength was financial management, so then as now I'm the one responsible for managing the accounting, advertising and operations aspects of the business. The partnership works well, thank goodness! Still, I consider our two amazing children, Kalyn and Daniel, our greatest accomplishment. I'm a former president of the PTA and have worked fervently for more than ten years supporting elementary school student enrichment and equity. In my free time, I'm pursuing the always elusive ‘perfect balance’ of family and self. When David and I get a chance to run away, there's nothing more I enjoy than a four day ride on our Specialized roadbikes, in beautiful wine country, of course.
